Management Company

The day-to-day affairs of the association are managed by a professional association management company, MJS Management, Inc., located at 4910 Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC 29209.

What does MJS do?

  • Plans and leads the Annual Association Meeting and the election of board members.
  • Invoices and collects the annual assessments as directed by the board.
  • Pays the bills of the association such as landscaping of the entrances, electricity for the streetlights, and the costs of collecting delinquent assessments.
  • Ensures compliance with the architectural guidelines and the rules and regulations of the association.
  • Negotiates with vendors and maintains the common areas of the property.
  • Works with realtors when closing to provide information to new owners.

The Board of Directors

The board of directors consists of five members in good standing elected at the last Association meeting held on June 27, 2023. What does the board of directors do?

  • Creates the annual budget and sets the assessments to cover the budget.
  • Collects the assessments and preserves the association’s financial assets.
  • Ensures compliance with the association’s governing documents and rules and regulations.
  • Maintain the common areas of the property in a good state of repair.
